Fall Season Details
Team details
We have competitive teams of all ages and a developmental team. We have partnered with Dribble and Swish to use their facility for the majority of our practices. This includes a full court and shooting machines.
Practices
Practices 2x a week with a combo of team practice and skills work. We are hiring coaches and trainers to develop and coach for the Fall. If you're interested in being involved as a volunteer or to join the coaching team, please let us know!
Games
We are focused on development for the Fall season. Tournaments will be rare and by invitation. We will host informal games and scrimmages weekly. Tournaments will primarily be in the Raleigh-Durham area and take place on Saturdays (sometimes Friday nights).
Cost for Fall Season
The fee to play on the Warriors will be $200. It will be required to also be a member of Dribble and Swish for the duration of the season. Memberships start at $75/month.
We are doing this to encourage and set the expectation that additional work needs to be done by all our athletes to improve their skills, conditioning, and basketball IQ.
Team Development Philosophy
3 key components for balanced development as kids move up the ladder of competition
1)Skills stations - focus on dribbling, shooting, passing, ball movement, etc.
2)Team practice - work on offense, defense, press, press break, etc.
3)Live games - game speed execution and decisionmaking
